Little Bee.  I must say that it has been a difficult book for me to read.  There is such a tragic story.  There is a sense of reality of the horrible things that happen around terror.  I don't know if you have ever been terrified, but that is how Little Bee lives...in terror.  Terror in my opinion is a lot different that being scared.  It is an interesting twist when Little Bee's life meets up with Sarah's.  Sarah's life is also in turmoil and much of it because of her own doing, but also because of who her now deceased husband use to be.  She has made many poor choices with an affair, then going to a country that had warnings not to vacation there.  It reminded me of my own trip to India.  Many people were concerned for our safety   But it certainly did not have a war going on there.  Sarah and her husband meet a very disturbing group of terrorists and Sarah makes a sacrifice that her husband could not do.  (But you will have to read to find that out.)  Sarah seems very reckless at times, but also is shows courage with the sacrifice she made.  These two women do have their moments of brief happiness when they decide that they would like to look at the joys in life.  I'm still reading to see what happens to these women.
