The All-Girl Filling Station's Last Reunion

  1. The All Girls Filling Station was a great read. The story depicts a nation coming together in a a time of war with the women being the backbone at home in the US. I also enjoyed how the story of Sookie and how she rediscovered herself by finding out she was adopted. I thought Flagg did a great job of tell the story of Sookies family from the early 1900's and Sookies life in the 60's.

  2. I am about half-way through with the book, and I really like it. I was a little skeptical for the first couple of chapters, but now I'm really into it. I want to see what happens with the men who are involved in the war. I want to see what happened to Fritzi, and I really want to see what happens when Sookie confronts Lenore!
