I'm going to me taking the discussion questions out of the back of this book. What are some modern examples of prejudice? Other than racial prejudice, what other kinds of rejudice are common today?
Don't get me started! This quesion just opened a can of worms. Ok here are a few. Oppession of women, we earn 89 cents to every dollar a man earns for the same job. The idea that every homosexul person has a choice in there sexual oreintation. Native Americans don't mind it when we use their trible names for our American sports teams. People with addictions are not sick they are just makeing poor choices. The poorest of people in the country could choose to have a better life, when it's our own thinking that supresses these people. Ok that's enouph, like I said don't get me started :)

ReplyDeletePrejudice because of someone's religion or beliefs. Educational prejudice. Prejudice against (or for) those who have more or less money than another.
ReplyDeleteI have been inspired to start the book club again. I'm looking for a new book to read. Any suggestions?
