The setting of this book is during the Nazi occupation in Germany.  It's about a young foster girl who finds refuge in books and feeds the soul.  It's also a movie our right now.

Can't wait to read this book again.  Last time I read this book I was reading it to a group of teenage boys at camp.  They loved it also.

Our next story is about a women who survived the Rwandan Holocaust.  It is call Left to Tell.  Hope you can join us in reading the book pick for the month of July.

It's amazing how this young women really got it at such a young age.  I think back on my teen years.  I was involved in a lot of things that had nothing to do with God's plan.  I have read the first three chapters so far and this young lady is truly gifted with God's wisdom.  What an example of the love of Jesus and a good reminder of what we should all be doing as Christians.  I can't wait to finish reading this book.
